Question
How can I control a PowerHorn siren from ActiveHome Pro?
Answer
Plug in the PowerHorn siren.
Define an AM466 Three-Pin Appliance Module in ActiveHome Pro at the SAME address as the PowerHorn.
Build a Macro with a 'different Trigger Code' than the PowerHorn's address.
Put the following steps in the macro:
- Delay 2 Seconds
- Appliance Module On
- Delay 2 Seconds
- Appliance Module On
You should repeat this sequence of steps at least 4 times.
After building this macro, go to the room in which it resides, then click its Run Macro button.
The siren should go off.
About 5 seconds after the macro finishes running, the siren should stop sounding.
