Question

How can I control a PowerHorn siren from ActiveHome Pro?

Answer

Plug in the PowerHorn siren, then define an AM466 Three-Pin Appliance Module in ActiveHome Pro at the address of the PowerHorn. Build a Macro with a different Trigger Code than the PowerHorn's address. Put the following steps in the macro:

  • Delay 2 Seconds
  • Appliance Module On
  • Delay 2 Seconds
  • Appliance Module On

You should repeat this sequence of steps at least 4 times. After building this macro, go to the room in which it resides, then click its Run Macro button. The siren should go off.
