Questions

When I connect my USB ActiveHome Interface (CM15A), Windows asks me to insert a disk. I don't have a disk. What do I do?

Answer

Sometimes Windows 98 and Windows ME do not recognize that drivers for the ActiveHome Pro interface are already installed. When prompted for the disk, try the following:

  • In the "Insert Disk" window, click the "Browse" button to look for driver files.
  • Go to your C: drive in the list, then "Program Files"; next, look for "Common Files," and then "X10." Then, choose "DriverInstall," and finally "Wireless Transceivers."
  • Click the OK button to use the driver files in that folder. Follow the instructions on your screen after that.

Once the driver installation finishes, you should be able to open ActiveHome Pro software.
