A: For users on your home Wi-Fi network you do not need to open a port on your firewall. For advanced users you can open a port on your firewall to enable a 3G wireless internet connection. You must know your network IP address to enable this feature. At this time X10 does not provide support for 3G control because every router is different. Furthermore, we do NOT recommend that you do this; X10 expressly disclaims all liability for damage or intrusion to your PC, your house, or any other loss resulting from opening that port.
