Can I set my X10 camera up as a rear-view camera for my vehicle?

Yes, you can do that. You would need a small portable TV or in-dash LCD screen. You could hook the camera and video receiver up with a cigarette lighter adapter or have a car stereo place install them for you.

The camera`s signal has a hard time making it through metal, but if the receiver is pretty close to the camera it still makes it through. Consider using one of our Anaconda wired cameras with our Video Sender system. This would give you a video sender and a camera in two different boxes connected with a wire. You could put the sender where it will put out the clearest signal and position the camera without caring about reception. The wired cameras are a lot smaller, too.
