Removing WDM Audio Capture

Question

I get a "Software has performed an illegal operation" error after leaving iWatchOut open for a while. What should I do?

Answer

Go into Start, and then Settings, and click on Control Panel. Open up System Control Panel (in the Performance and Maintenance category). Go to the Hardware Tab and click on the Device Manager button. Look for the Sound and Game Controllers category. Locate WDM Audio Drivers, right-click on it, and select Properties. Disable WDM Audio drivers, then hit OK and reboot your computer.
