Has anyone experienced problems with the MT13A mini timer?

At first I was pleased with the new controller since it was easy to program, compact, and had a simple battery backup. But I have two of them I purchased within the last couple months, and both stopped working. There is no battery issue. The program is correct, but the timer will not turn on and off any devices. I plugged in an old timer and the devices work fine. For some reason the new timers seem to lose the ability to control devices even with the "ALL ON" or "ALL OFF" controls. If I reprogram them they seem to work fine for a day to a week, but then start acting up.

Also, when I unplug the AC supply, they lose their program even though the battery backup is in and new.
