One of the problems plaguing typical web cams is poor image quality. Often the poor image can be partly attributed to the cameras white balance ability. A white balance tells the camera what color to reference in the room as white. Once the camera has this measure it can display the other colors properly. Our camera has an automatic white balance so your colors are always correct and never lacking the real life detail you'd expect from video calling. Without this adjustment, and depending on the light source, a picture could have a distinctly orange or blue tint. See the example below.
