Is there some way to turn the VCR Commander off for a few hours without deleting its program?
Answer
Yes. Simply disconnect the infrared emitter cable from the VCR Commander, but leave it stuck to the VCR.
When you want to put the VCR back in recording mode, first make sure that you can see the camera on your TV through the VCR, then reconnect the IR cable to the Commander. Finally, tap STOP on the VCR Commander once.
