Question
How can I copy my ActiveHome settings to a new computer?
Answer
Go into the File menu and select Save As to save a copy of your house data file(s) elsewhere on your hard drive. We recommend saving the files in My Documents or on the Desktop so it will be easy to find. These files will have names like MYHOUSE.X10 (and possibly also MYHOUSE.MAC.) You should then copy these files to a CD or email them to yourself. Once you have installed ActiveHome on your new computer, just copy the original house data file to your computer from where they were saved. Then open ActiveHome and select Open from the File menu to open your house data files.
