Our camera can pan 180 degrees from left to right. Just like you might look both ways before crossing the street, camera  can scan surrounding areas to pick up activity in its peripheral vision. It also has a horizontal field of view of 50 degrees. Add everything up for a total panning view of 230 degrees.
