I made an error while setting up my console. How can I reset the system?
Is it possible to remove a zone or remote without losing other saved settings?
Answer
Unfortunately the only way to reprogram and of the settings for the PS561 / DS7000 console is to factory reset the console and install your wanted zones and remotes from scratch.
Unplug the PS561 console from wall power, then remove its 9V backup battery. Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect wall power and reinstall the battery. Reprogram the console from scratch.
