Questions How do I setup my security system? How do I program phone numbers in the console? Answer Here are some quick instructions for setting up the telephone dialer.

  • Set the console's INSTALL/RUN switch to INSTALL.
  • Press the PROG button.
  • Enter the first phone number that you want the console to call in the event of a problem, e.g. 234-5678.
  • Press the MEM button.
  • Press 1 to store the phone number in memory location 1.
  • Press PROG and enter a second number, followed by pressing MEM and then 2 to store the number in memory location 2.
  • Press PROG and enter a third number, followed by pressing MEM and then 3 to store the number in memory location 3.
  • Press PROG and enter a fourth number, followed by pressing MEM and then 4 to store the number in memory location 4.
  • Repeat steps 1-5 to change a number.
  • When you are finished programming the numbers, move the console's INSTALL/RUN switch back to RUN.

If you want to store only one number, 'fill up' the memory locations with that number. Ex: 234-5678 memory location 1. 234-5678 memory location 2. 234-5678 memory location 3. 234-5678 memory location 4. To store a voice message:

  • Plug an earphone into the jack on the side of the console.
  • Set the console's INSTALL/RUN switch to INSTALL.
  • Press the RECORD button. The RECORD light turns on.
  • Speak clearly into the microphone on the front of the console. You can record up to 15 seconds of speech. Ex: "This is Mrs Smith. There's a strange noise in my house. Press 0 to listen." After 15 seconds the RECORD light turns off.
  • Set the console's INSTALL/RUN switch to RUN. The console plays back your message through the earphone so you can hear what it sounds like (it sounds better over the phone).
  • If you want to hear the message again, set the console's INSTALL/RUN switch to INSTALL and then back to RUN.

Repeat all the steps if you want to change the message. Related Articles [img src="http://site.x10.com/?Z3gxT2tiYXNlYXJ0aWNsZTEuZGF0=RND%7Ckbasearticle"]
