Lights Flash When Phone Rings

Whenever my phone rings, a light or lights flash. How do I prevent this?

Answer

The TR16A can flash a selected light or lights anywhere in your home when the phone rings; some of our hearing-impaired customers have bought a TR16A for just this reason.

Any Module(s) set to the same Unit Code as the third digit on the security code dial will flash on and off when the phone rings. To avoid the flashing, change the rightmost code dial on the TR16A to a Unit Code that you do not have any modules set to.
