I can connect remotely sometimes, but not other times. What can I try?

The Vanguard ICC server will not stay connected all the time. What can I try?

Answer

There are a number of things that can cause intermittent software issues. If you have any of these products, try disabling them in this order:

1. Security suites, like McAfee or Norton
2. Antispyware software
3. Firewalls
4. Routers
5. Antivirus software

If you have a combination router/high-speed modem, try putting the Vanguard Server PC in the DMZ.
