Why did my Protector Plus go off by itself?
Answer=
There are a number of things to check:
- The DM10A motion sensors employ passive infrared (PIR.) If they are facing a window and the sun is reflecting off the glass, it can create heat and cause the motion sensor to trigger.
- If your door is loose and wind presses up against your door, the magnets may separate slightly causing your door window sensor to trigger.
- Double check the batteries in your sensors.
