My car came with a feature called HomeLink. Can I use this to control X10 devices?
Answer
If you have a car with the HOMELINK RF system, you can use it to transmit X10 commands from your car to turn on lights. You will need a remote (we recommend the HR12A) and a transceiver, plus any modules or switches for particular devices you want to control. Homelink provides vehicle-specific programming instructions at their website.
