They do not function well, if at all, in other wiring environments. Units that send or receive powerline commands will generally not work with voltage converters. Entertainment and camera products are NTSC only. X10 units that send RF commands use 310MHz signals in the US and Canadian markets; all other X10 RF products we distribute use 433MHz signals.
