Question

I lost the power supply for my VR36A Video Only receiver. What should I order?

Answer

The VR36A was revised in late 2006; different models require different power supplies. Look at the label on the bottom of the VR36A. It will say "For use with X10 2.4 GHz cameras, and plugin power supply rated at"...

The next line will be either:

  • 9 VDC, 300 mA max

or

  • 6 VDC, 300 mA max

If it asks for 9 VDC, you need the D9300; if it asks for 6 VDC, you need the D6300.
