You can also switch a low voltage through the contacts of the module- for example, the UM506 is generally the best way to control low-voltage lighting with a small transformer (under 40 watts.) However, the terminals are exposed, therefore for safety you should not connect voltages higher than 30VAC (42 VDC) to these terminals, because this causes a shock hazard.
- Use a small screwdriver to set the red Housecode dial to the same letter as your X10 controller(s).
- Set the black Unit Code dial to a number between 1 and 16.
