Question

I can't get Lola to show up on my TV, what do I do?

Answer

If you have a Lola wireless kit, follow these steps:
  • Make sure your Wireless Video Receiver is connected to its power cord and turned On (the On/Off switch is located on the left side).
  • Select the appropriate video input on your TV. Usually you can select the input mode by pressing the VIDEO or INPUT button on the remote control. You might also have to change the TV to Channel 0 or 2, and then use Channel Down to change video inputs. See your TV's owner's manual if you are not sure how to change the video input source.
  • Make sure your Lola transmitter is connected to power and turned On (the On/Off switch is located on the left side).
  • Check that your video card's video output is turned on. Open the Windows Control Panel, go to the Display control panel, go to the Settings tab, and look for the output settings--usually under "Advanced." See your video card support for more help.
  • Follow the setup instructions again, and check all connections.
  • Make sure that the ABCD switches on the bottom of the transmitter and on the bottom of the wireless video receiver are both set to the same letter.
If you are using the Lola Direct Connect Kit, follow these steps:
  • Select the appropriate video input on your TV. Usually you can select the input mode by pressing the VIDEO or INPUT button on the remote control. You might also have to change the TV to Channel 0 or 2, and then use Channel Down to change video inputs. See your TV's owner's manual if you are not sure how to change the video input source.
  • Check that your video card's video output is turned on. Open the Windows Control Panel, go to the Settings tab, and look for the output settings--usually under "Advanced." See your video card support for more help.
  • Follow the setup instructions again, and check all connections.
