How many security sensors can I install into my security system?

Answer

Newer SC1200/SC12A System

You can install up to sixteen remote controls and thirty sensors, plus two hardwired sensors at the console. You can install any combination of remotes or sensors. For example, you could install 16 keychain remotes and 30 door/window sensors, or 4 keychains, 12 large security remotes, 19 motion sensors, and 11 door/window sensors. Remote controls do not occupy the sensor zones on the console. If you cannot install a full 16 remotes, reprogram the console from scratch; it is likely a remote got installed twice. You can add on as many Lamp Modules and PowerHorn sirens as you like.

Older PS561/DS7000 System
