Question

When starting ActiveHome, I get a General Protection Fault error, and it closes the program. I am running Windows 2000 Professional or XP. What can I do to fix this?

Answer

Try changing the properties for the shortcut:

  • Right click on the desktop icon for ActiveHome
  • Choose PROPERTIES>>SHORTCUT and put a check mark in the box labeled "Run in separate memory space".
