This error typically means one of the .xml files was corrupted during a previous Windows update. Since uninstalling ActiveHome Pro doesn't remove this file, re-installing AHP won't repair it if it's still there:

- Navigate to the C:\ProgramData\X10 Settings folder and locate the file called "X10active.xml".
- Rename or Delete this file.
- Re-run the AHP program.
