Dialing Zero On A Cellphone

Question

I can stop the dialing sequence and listen in by pressing "0" on a regular phone, so why doesn't it work on my cellphone?

Answer

This often happens with cell phones - they will just transmit the 0 tone for a few tenths of a second. We recommend that you contact your phone's manufactuer and inquire about enabling "Long Keytone Length" in the cell phone's settings.
